Summer on the Lake

Logan Martin LakeFest and Boat Show

Derby Day at the Stables

Paddle for a Purpose

Time: Registration 7:30 a.m., Race 9 a.m.
Location: Children’s Harbor
Cost: Spectators Free, $35 for 1 mile course, $45 for 3 or 6 mile course

Art on the Lake
Date: May 27-28
Time: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Cost: Free
Location: Children’s Harbor
In its 11th year, artisans will present handmade crafts and fine arts to a crowd of more than 5,000 people. The event is free and a portion of art purchases will support Children’s Harbor. Visit for more information.


Alabama Bass Trail Tournament
Date: May 13
Time: Registration at 5 p.m. May 12, Tournament starts at 6:30 a.m. or safe daylight no May 13
Location: Coosa Landing
One of Alabama Bass Trail’s regular season tournaments, this single day team event offers $10,000 to first place winner.

Smith Lake Memorial Day Festival

Time: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Location: Smith Lake Park
