Smith Lake Memorial Day Festival
Location: Smith Lake Park.

Description: Featuring craft and food vendors, country and bluegrass music, an ice cream-eating contest, a golf cart/bicycle parade and more, the Smith Lake Memorial Day Festival is fun for the whole family.

Mineral Springs Baptist Church Fishing Tournament
Location: Bozo’s Camp at Lay Lake.
Time/Date: Saturday, May 23, 5 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Cost: $100 for boat and fishing partner.

RXR Music Fest
Location: Town Green at Russell Crossroads, Lake Martin.
Time/Date: Friday-Saturday, May 22-23, 6:30 p.m.-10 p.m.; Sunday May 24, 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m.

Art on the Lake
Location: Children’s Harbor, Lake Martin.
Time/Date: Saturday-Sunday May 23-24, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Description: This decade-old art festival supports Southeastern artisans selling jewelry, sculpture, pottery and works on canvas, as well as Children’s Harbor, a nonprofit whose mission is “to provide camp, counseling and support services to children with long-term illness or trauma-induced diagnoses and their families.”
